About

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside of the uterus. This can cause pain, irregular periods, and possible fertility issues.

It can affect different parts of the body, including the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the tissue lining the pelvis.

This condition is often invisible.

Many disabilities, including this one, may not have outward signs—people can be significantly impacted even if they appear “fine” on the outside.

Notes

Endometriosis is a chronic condition, and the severity of symptoms can vary. It’s important to have ongoing support from both medical professionals and employers to ensure a balance between work and health.
