About
Dementia is a term used to describe a group of conditions that affect memory, thinking, and social abilities severely enough to interfere with daily functioning. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type. Symptoms tend to worsen over time and may affect language, judgment, and personality.
This condition is often invisible.
Many disabilities, including this one, may not have outward signs—people can be significantly impacted even if they appear “fine” on the outside.

Notes
Dementia symptoms affect everyone differently. Many people can work successfully in the early stages with the right supports and routine. Encouraging dignity, understanding, and workplace education makes a big difference.
